Active Learning Week

This Year our Active Learning Week takes place in the final week of the year - from Monday 15th July to Friday 19th July (inclusive). We are running it slightly differently this year with different year groups having access to a different experience through the week:

Year 7 will be taking part in a 'Pledge Week' where we seek to undertake a set of activities that we feel all students should experience through their time at Cheslyn Hay Academy. These will involve a range of onsite activities and day trips through the week that students will be able to opt into. More details will be shared as plans are finalised

Year 8 and 9 have the option of taking part in either residential trips through the whole week, or a series of day trips and onsite activities on offer through the week. The Residential and Year 8/9 Active Learning Week brochure is linked below.

Year 10 and 12 have the option of completing their Work Experience during the Active Learning Week, or can take part in one of the available residential trips. Note that those students taking part in Residential trips should plan their Work Experience in the week before Active Learning Week so that all students can take part in this essential experience
