The purpose of Parents' Evenings is to give parents the opportunity to discuss the progress their child is making.  It can also provide an opportunity for conversations between teachers and parents about their experience in the subject and what teachers, parents and students can do to support their learning in future.

Information that will be shared:

The following may be discussed, but will vary by context including the subject, the year group and the student:

• Clarification on attainment, progress and engagement data provided in the most recent report
• Feedback on how the student is progressing in lessons
• Discussion around how the student can improve the progress they are making
• Comments and questions parents may have around progress in the subject
